Staffing OptionS can provide assistance on a temporary, emergency and ongoing basis. 
Assistance may be:

• One-off requests in emergency situations for back-up of regular workers
• Short/long term in-home / out-of-home support
• Community Access
• Short-term replacement for coordinators
• After hours on-call support service

Staffing OptionS is able to provide a high degree of flexibility so that organizations can continue to meet the needs of people with a disability and the frail aged with minimal disruption to those they support.

Another option available through Staffing OptionS is our emergency respite family service.

The role of respite families is to provide emergency accommodation for a limited time, giving the family/service an opportunity to seek alternative accommodation options.

Some respite families can also provide planned overnight respite for families and carers who need regular breaks.

Staffing Options provides 1:1 support to people with a disability with the purpose of assisting the person to access and / or link into their local and broader community.

Staffing OptionS offers:

• A flexible, individual based approach to service delivery which acknowledges likes, dislikes, needs and interests vary from person to person.

• Consultations with the person using the service, family and people who know the person well are held regularly to ensure their interests are being pursued

Organisations or families may wish to employ staff introduced through our temporary / emergency service. Should this occur a placement fee is negotiated depending on the employment conditions

Staffing OptionS for Community Services pty ltd adheres to the following principles:

• People requiring support are entitled to support which meets their individual needs, by workers who have a clear    understanding of the manner in which the support is to be provided.
• Service Providers are entitled to expect the workers provided through Staffing OptionS will have an understanding of their service philosophy and are able to work within their service framework.
• Workers employed by Staffing  OptionS are entitled to be provided with sufficient knowledge and       resources to provide the support    required.

Self Directed Support (via hosting) adheres to the principles and objectives of the Queensland Disability Services Act.
